Immigrated to Philadelphia from Ukraine, 1913. Member of Workmen's Circle, Jewish fraternal organization, and for many years member of Socialist Party. Trade union activist who served as business agent for Bakery and Confectionery Workers Local 201, and as officer of Philadelphia United Hebrew Trades. After thirty years' self-employment, retired and again became active in Workmen's Circle.
